1965 Ford Cobra Replica

We just completed a beautiful transformation of this 1965 Cobra Replica. We started with a very, well built car that had alot going for it but needed a full super upgrade to take this build to a high level and this what we came up with. 

This was built for a customer that new clearly what he wanted and black was a big theme.

• We perfected all blemishes and paint faults and detailed the entire finish
• The fuel injected 302 ci wasn’t enough to meet the demand so we installed this Superb 460ci Stroker manufactored by and horse power rated (575 hp) by Ford Performance
• We then added an advanced Holley multi-port fuel injected system driven by their terminator controller which adds up to another 25 hp. Can you imagine the raw performance in a car that weighs around 1,800 lbs?
• Once this powerhouse was mated to a 6 speed tremec manual transmission and an indepndent rear suspesion with a confined posi trac rear the performance is amazing
• To match the power the build is equipped to stop the car with 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes. All are drilled and slotted discs with the front being 14" Discs and 6 piston calipers and the rear 13" discs and 4 piston calipers
• Sadly the hidden wiring in this car didn’t match the balance  so we removed the existing and installed a new American Auto wire kit
• We took the interior to the next level with black Alante’ wrapped over the seats, dash and door panels. 
• Too add to the new interior upholstry we installed a complete stereo system to enjoy when this beast isn’t roaring
• The chassis was built prior to us but arrived weathered and peeling paint so the underside has been prepped and paint work re-done
